Blooming with Hope Birthday Card

Today’s card is folded different than my usual cards. It was a fun one to make and hope you like it. Are my instructions easy to read?? Sometimes I don’t understand the words that are coming out of my fingers!
So get out your basic tool kit and let’s start by cutting all the layers.
  1. 1. Basic Gray card base cut at 4 ¼” by 11” scored at 5 ½”.
  2. 2. Lost Lagoon layer cut at 4” by 5 ¼”
  3. 3. Moonlight Designer Series Paper 3 ¾” by 5”
Center section
     a.   Basic Gray cut at 3” by 4 ¼
     b.   Whisper White cut at 2 ¾” by 4”
You will also need scraps of Lost Lagoon and Whisper White card stock.
Following my own decree—we will stamp first and then assemble! On the smallest Whisper White layer (see b above) stamp the leaves from the Bloom with Hope stamp set using smoky slate ink. I stamped them three times.

Next using Memento Black ink stamp the flowers over the leaves and again on a scrap piece of paper. Color both sets of flowers. Then fussy cut the flowers on the scrap paper, and use a dimensional to place them on top of the flowers on the center section.
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Lost Lagoon. And use the Bitty Banners Framelit to cut out the sentiment. Attach it to the card with a couple of dimensionals.

I colored some basic pearls with the darkest Daffodil Delight bendability pen and just placed them randomly to add a little shine.
Now to assemble the completed card, Glue the Lost Lagoon to the card base. Next layer is the designer series paper.  Now glue the white stamped panel to the small basic grey panel and use dimensionals to glue it to the center of the card.

Here’s the list of supplies that I used.  Don’t forget you can shop at my store 24/7 and have it mailed straight to your house!
